PONCHO: The Thing Quarterly

In the face of the events of the last few weeks, really in the months since Trump has taken office, we are continually faced with decisions about how to move forward in a society where the president refuses to confront the racist hate groups that his presidency has emboldened. As we saw in Boston last week, one of our most powerful methods of resistance is peaceful protest.

When hate groups come to our cities we must come out in numbers to show that we stand for equality. This look of the week features the Protest Poncho from The Thing Quarterly that reminds us to get out and protest.

If a hate group is coming to your city find a peaceful anti-hate protest to join and get out there! If there aren't protests where you live donate to an organization that fights hate and racism such as the Southern Poverty Law Center or the ACLU.
